Washington (AP) — The Wall Street Journal publisher News Corporation said Friday that journalists and other employees had hacked and stolen data, and a cybersecurity company investigating the intrusion was operating in China’s intelligence gathering. He said he believed it was behind him. The journal, citing people briefed about the intrusion, reported that it was believed to date back to February 2020 and affected many employees.
