According to market research firm Counterpoint Research, seven of the ten most popular smartphone brands in Europe are Chinese, and Chinese manufacturers at MWC seem determined to push that number even higher. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused the cancellation of the MWC and last year’s edition had to be reduced.
