Salmon Arm cross-country skier Natalie Wilkie has won her second gold of the Beijing Paralympic Games. Wilkie won her first gold in the sprint and second in the 15-kilometre standing ski. The 21-year-old biathlete improved upon her sixth-place finish in the 15-km cross in 2018, in PyeongChang. She has a total of five medals in her first two Paralympics. Wilkie grew up a high-performance junior cross-country skier and was invited to the Para-Nordic program following a workshop accident at school in which she lost four fingers on her left hand.
