Major Taiwan-based PC Maker Integrates FPC Biometric Sensors Into Two New Laptops

Fingerprint Cards ‘ biometric technology has now been integrated into two more laptop devices, the company has announced. In a statement, FPC declined to name its client for these latest integrations, but characterized it as “a leading Taiwan-based PC manufacturer.” The company also noted that its biometric solution for PCs is designed to interface with Windows Hello, the biometric authentication system baked into Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system, indicating that the new laptops run on that platform. Fingerprint Cards received official approval from Microsoft earlier this year, when the tech giant added the former’s Match-on-Chip fingerprint matching solution for PCs...
