The group known as Mustang Panda has targeted European and Russian organizations since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. Mustang Panda, a China-based threat actor, known as ‘RedDelta’ or ‘Bronze President,’ has carried out a series of phishing campaigns against European and Russian organizations since February 2022. According to a report by Cisco Talos, some phishing messages contain documents masquerading as official European Union reports on the conflict in Ukraine and its effects on NATO countries.
