Jidu Auto, the electric vehicle brand of the Baidu Group (Google’s counterpart in China), has unveiled its first car, the Robo 01. It is a Tier 4 zero-emission autonomous concept. The vehicle is equipped with exterior doors without handles that can be opened and closed using voice commands. The vehicle, shown at an online press conference held in the Baidu Xirang app metaverse, relies on voice recognition to manage all driver-passenger interactions.
