A report released on Wednesday by the China Academy of Information and Communications (CAICT), smartphone shipments within China increased 9.1% year over year to 27.5 million devices in June. Approximately 25.2 million handsets were shipped in June 2021 and 20.6 million in May 2022, respectively, a think tank supported by the government.
