Earlier this year, TikTok agreed to lease 4800 square meters of office space across three floors of Lendlease’s Salesforce tower at Sydney’s Circular Quay, according to a Chinese ad website. The Australian offices of large US-headquartered tech firms such as Facebook and Twitter were hit hard by recent layoffs.
