by Pat Low The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) issued stern warnings on 11 January 2023 to six individuals who were formerly senior management staff of Keppel Offshore & Marine Limited (KOM), the offshore and marine arm of Keppel Corporation, for their roles in the case of the bribery of Brazil’s state oil company Petrobras. Singaporeans view this as not even amounting to a slap on the wrist. There is a public outcry against a sense of rules-for-thee-but-not-for-me kind of justice.
