Residents of Sangiote village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district did not celebrate Eid. The village was the destination of the army truck of 49 Rashtriya Rifles, which was ambushed on April 20, leaving five soldiers dead and one critically injured. Four of these soldiers were from Punjab and one from Odisha.
