Pogo hub lawyers call for medical treatment of injured foreigners

THE legal representatives of a Philippine offshore gaming operator (Pogo) hub demanded on Saturday, July 1, 2023, for the Philippine National Police (PNP) to allow the medical treatment of more or less 13 foreigners who were among those taken into custody following a raid.In a letter penned by the Vargas Law Office, which is representing Xinhuang Network Technologies, it said these foreign nationals needed medical attention, noting that some of them sustained serious injuries such as gunshot wounds."This refers to the incident that occurred during the wee hours in the morning of 29 June 2023 wherein thirteen or so foreign...
