Harvest Global Investments Limited ("HGI") has announced the listing of the Harvest G2 Tech 50 ETF on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited ("HKEX"). This ETF focuses on core technology assets in both China and the United States, providing investors with a one-stop solution to access the core assets of the two major global technology hubs. The ETF tracks the Solactive Harvest Tiger G2 Tech 50 Select Index, with core investments in Chinese tech companies listed in Hong Kong and tech firms in the US. Ms. Fiona Tse from the Investment Products Division of SFC noted that the launch of this ETF offers diversified and flexible investment options to both local and global investors, further advancing Hong Kong's position as an international asset management center.

At the listing ceremony, Mr. Charlie Chen, CEO of HGI, highlighted the importance of AI in driving the global technology cycle. He emphasized the complementary strengths of the Chinese and American technology ecosystems and the role of the ETF in bridging innovation across both markets. Looking ahead, HGI aims to deepen its presence in the Hong Kong market and deliver transparent and efficient global allocation solutions to investors.

The global technology industry has been evolving rapidly, with significant developments in both the US and China. The combined capital expenditure forecast for major US tech giants is projected to reach around US$650 billion in 2026, while Chinese technology companies continue to invest heavily in AI research and development. The US excels in foundational technology ecosystems like semiconductors, while China has strengths in internet platforms, consumer electronics, and new energy. The two ecosystems complement each other, presenting investors with opportunities to capture technology dividends from both markets.

The Harvest G2 Tech 50 ETF offers investors access to a diversified portfolio of technology leaders from both China and the US. The ETF includes companies like NVIDIA, Microsoft, Apple, Tencent, and Tesla, among others, covering key areas such as AI computing, internet platforms, consumer electronics, and intelligent manufacturing. By integrating different markets and technology segments, the ETF provides investors with a cross-market allocation tool that diversifies risk and aligns with global technology trends.

HGI plans to leverage its parent company's strengths to deepen integration and cooperation across various dimensions. The company aims to provide investors in Hong Kong, mainland China, and globally with a range of products and services, including diversified asset allocation and cross-border investment solutions. HGI remains committed to delivering sustainable returns and accompanying investors in benefiting from technological innovation and industrial upgrading.

Established in 2008, Harvest Global Investments Limited is a subsidiary of Harvest Fund Management, offering international investors comprehensive asset management solutions. The Harvest G2 Tech 50 ETF is an innovative product designed to meet market demand for cross-market technology-themed allocation tools. It aims to provide investors with a unique opportunity to access core technology assets in China and the US through a single investment portfolio.

Investing in the Harvest G2 Tech 50 ETF involves risks, including potential loss of principal. Past performance is not indicative of future results, and investors should carefully review the offering documents before investing. The ETF's concentration in China and the US may lead to increased volatility, and investors should be aware of the associated risks. HGI's commitment to providing diverse asset management solutions reflects its dedication to meeting the evolving needs of global investors.
