Chinese ecommerce giant JD.com has launched its Joybuyonline marketplace in the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg as part of its international expansion strategy. This move is aimed at competing with market leader Amazon in the European market.

Last year, JD.com acquired German electronics retailer Ceconomy for 2.2 billion euros, signaling its commitment to growing its presence outside of China.
