Dreame Technology, a Chinese robotic vacuum maker, unveiled an electric vehicle (EV) concept car at an event in San Francisco on Monday.

The company said its new EV, called Nebula NEXT 01 Concept Jet Edition, features a custom dual solid rocket-booster system, intelligent chassis, and solid-state battery.

The unveiling was part of a broader four-day showcase hosted at the Palace of Fine Arts, where the company highlighted a range of products spanning intelligent vehicles, smart appliances, and personal electronics, including robot vacuums and wet/dry vacuums.

According to the company, Nebula NEXT 01 Concept Jet Edition uses electromagnetic active suspension and dry, wire-controlled braking. The vehicle also features a sulfide-based solid-state battery, described as a mass-producible, ultra-high-capacity system.

Equipped with LiDAR, the EV aims to reduce blind spots in extreme weather or low-light conditions. The company said its new EV aims to deliver robust, all-weather perception capabilities that enhance the safety and reliability of intelligent driving systems.

At the event, the EV concept car was displayed on stage, with no test drives or interior access provided.

Founded in 2017, Dreame Technology is a major robotic vacuum maker backed by Chinese electronics company Xiaomi Corp.

Dreame Technology was founded by Yu Hao, who studied aerospace engineering at Tsinghua University. Dreame said its 2025 revenue was around $5.8 billion, with nearly 80% coming from overseas markets.
