In 2018, Mouni made her Bollywood debut with the film Gold, opposite Akshay Kumar. She has since appeared in several films, including Romeo Akbar Walter, Made In China, Velle, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, and Blackout. Mouni will next be seen in the Varun Dhawan-starrer Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, releasing on June 5. The film is directed by David Dhawan and also stars Pooja Bedi, Mrunal Thakur, Chunky Panday, Rakesh Bedi, Jimmy Shergill, Maniesh Paul, Kubbra Sait, Manoj Pahwa, and Ali Asgar, among others.
