On Sunday, the temperature downtown hit 36.9 C, making it the hottest day Hong Kong has recorded since 1884. The heat was partly blamed on Typhoon Dolphin trapping warm air over the city. But honestly, I didn't find it that horrible when I went out in the evening for a quick hike.
