A new name has been added to China's AI models. Tencent has now entered the competition with a preview of Hy4, a new open-source AI model that can handle practical tasks such as coding, financial analysis, office work and scientific research. Tencent says Hy4 has been designed to do more than simply perform well on AI benchmarks. The company wants the model to be useful for everyday professional tasks, including software development, data analysis and creating documents.
