Ms Zhao also resigned from a UK subsidiary – TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited – in late July, just over a week after leaving the Australian board. She is listed as a vice president of ByteDance and has worked from the Chinese technology giant since 2015, according to her LinkedIn. Ms Zhao remains listed as the chief executive and chief financial officer of ByteDance’s California-based entity, according to regulatory filings.
