October smartphone sales recorded the first year-over-year growth since mid-2021 as a recovery is gradually evolving, according to Counterpoint Research. October was the biggest month for sales since January 2022 as emerging markets lead the recovery, the research firm said. In addition, Counterpoint said growth continued to strengthen in the fourth quarter as the market recovers.
