Qingdao Hisense Electric Company Limited has published its financial report for the third quarter of 2009 and states its net profit from July to September 2009 increased by 179.94% year-over-year to CNY142 million.

The report also shows that from January to September 2009, Hisense's revenue was CNY13.049 billion, an increase of 30.47% compared with the same period of last year. Meanwhile, its sales costs increased by 47.89% year-on-year and its financial costs decreased by 30.21% year-on-year.

Hisense's press release stated that the revenue growth was promoted by the increase of both domestic and overseas sales. For the sales costs increase, the company explained that it was mainly because the company enhanced market investment. For financial costs decrease, it was attributed to the reduction of export exchange gains and losses.
