Inspur, Sinosoft Form Strategic Partnership For Cloud Computing Development

China's Inspur and Sinosoft have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly promote the development of applications in key sectors such as cloud computing and big data.

Wang Endong, senior vice president of Inspur Group, said that the cooperation with Sinosoft will be able to solve security problems. Under the partnership, they will drive the fast development of self-developed software and products in related industries.

After consummating this strategic cooperation, they will promote the integration of their products and develop various application solutions. The two companies will jointly establish a lab to ensure the continuity of their technical cooperation. This joint lab will focus on testing and optimization of products and industrial application solutions.

Wang revealed that a financial big data all-in-one machine and financial industrial big data solution are the key aims of the cooperation. The related products are expected to start selling in the first half of 2014.

In addition, as a core member of China-based Host System Industry Alliance, Inspur will facilitate Sinosoft's joining of this alliance, so as to jointly promote the localization of key industrial applications.

Financial terms of their deal were not revealed.
