Guangzhou Metro Gets E-Business Overhaul

PacificNet (PACT.PK) announced that it has been awarded a public project tender by Guangzhou to develop an Internet and intranet based e-business software platform for Guangzhou Metro.

The e-business platform by PacificNet will include enterprise-wide information management systems, passenger information services, train schedule and route information, e-commerce, a public project tender management system, customer relationship management services, and a security management system using internet and intranet technologies.

"This is another demonstration of PacificNet's ability to win large projects from the most discriminating clients in China. We are proud to win this highly contended public tender by Guangzhou Metro for a large government infrastructure project in China, " said KC Wong, Chief Technology Officer of PacificNet.
