AsiaInfo (ASIA) has signed contracts with Shanghai Mobile and Gansu Mobile, both provincial subsidiaries of China Mobile, to upgrade the carriers' business

operation support systems to its latest OpenBOSS version 1.5.

Xingsheng Zhang, AsiaInfo's President and Chief Executive Officer, said, "Our OpenBOSS solution provides Shanghai and Gansu Mobile with an innovative and cost effective method to improve their operations. These contracts will further demonstrate the benefits of AsiaInfo's OpenBOSS technology while solidifying our position as a leading provider of high-quality software and customer solutions."

Gansu Mobile's upgraded OpenBOSS system will offer 24-hour online support to its over 2.4 million subscribers and will facilitate online bill inquiry, payment and real-time remote services. The system will feature advanced customer authentication capabilities to ensure security.
