U.S. mobile technology company Qualcomm reached a new 3G/4G patent licensing agreement with Shenzhen Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd.

According to the agreement, Qualcomm will authorize its paid patent licenses to Gionee's WCDMA, CDMA2000, and LTE devices developed, made, and sold in China. In return, Gionee will pay the licensing fee that is line with the terms of corrective measures submitted by Qualcomm to the National Development and Reform Commission of China.
