Atypon Systems has now established high-speed connectivity for publisher customers who license content to institutions in China through CERNET.

Through an agreement with the China Education and Research Network (CERNET), Atypon can now provide publishers with a broadband avenue directly into the academic community in China. This will enable publishers using Atypon's Literatum e-publishing solution to reliably distribute their online journal, book, and other content to libraries within China.

In addition to users gaining fast and immediate access to content, Chinese librarian administrators will be able to manage their accounts with publishers and download important reports.
