News from the first "Innovation: 2010 World Exposition Forum" held in Shanghai is that an agreement had been reached between Siemens and Shanghai Jiaotong University for the development of an RFID information system.

The two parties will work together to build an RFID test platform for the 2010 World Expo to be held in Shanghai.

By making use of an RFID information collecting and processing platform, the project will provide real-time and efficient management over the facilities, items on display and the audience flow at the exposition site.
