Local Chinese musician Chen Tong has filed a lawsuit against mop.com, one of the largest interactive entertainment portals in China, accusing the website of violating his copyright of "Tian Xia Wu Shuang".

"Tian Xia Wu Shuang" is a theme song that Chen Tong wrote for television soap opera "Shen Diao Xia Lu".

Chen says that he lodged this lawsuit not only in his own interest, but to protect the interests of all music producers.

As a music producer, Chen has composed music for Zhang Yimou films and served as producer for famous Chinese singers like Han Hong, He Jing, Sun Nan, Liu Huan, and Sun Yu.

The case is currently being processed by Haidian District Court of Beijing and a verdict would be issued in a few months.
