Editorial Staff

China's Ministry of Information Industry has abolished the trans-regional value-added service business licenses of 18 companies.

The 18 companies include Guangdong Southern Satellite Telecommunications Service Company, Beijing Baisite Telecom Technology Development Company, Aerostrong Technology Company, and Oriental Satellite Network Technology Company. Their revoked business licenses involve information service operations, Internet access services, wireless one-way calling services and call center services.

Each of the companies lost their respective licenses for different reasons involving relevant MII guidelines or rules.
