Along with its businesses involving eBay, Skype, and wireless value-added services, Tom Group plans to make online games a renewed focus for its development.

According to a report on Donews.com, Tom will invest CNY200 million to develop games. Since the end of 2003 when it first launched its Leiting Zhandui online game, Tom has continued to pursue its plans for developing gaming in China.

The company withdrew from Nasdaq during the summer in a bid to regain control over its development without constant pressure to perform with market demands.
