With all proceeds going to disadvantaged students of the Yang Dong Migrant Primary School, the hotel has commissioned three young and talented artists from Shanghai to create artwork for the hotel that resonate with the Christmas spirit.
As a first among Shanghai hotels, guests at the Radisson Hotel Pudong Century Park and art collectors across the region will have the opportunity to view and bid for the spectacular paintings online. The contributing artists, Pan Minyi, Zhao Ling and Gao Yiyuan come from different backgrounds and art movements, spanning traditional Chinese painting to modern and contemporary styles. They were commissioned by Mr. Dai Zhikang, the owner of the hotel and the 'Zendai Museum of Modern Art' in Shanghai, who is also a passionate art collector. Mr. Zhikang's taste for art is reflected in the design of the hotel, which incorporates minimalist-chic with bold colours, clean lines and a unique collection of modern artwork.
