The G7, or Group of Seven, is an intergovernmental organization consisting of seven of the world’s most industrialized and economically advanced countries. Its member states are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The G7 meets annually to discuss and coordinate economic policies, global challenges, and international security issues.
