Cao Liming, vice president of mobile television service operator TOWONA, says that TOWONA has formally entered the Shanghai mobile television market and is installing mobile digital televisions on more than 1000 buses around the city.
Cao estimates that TOWONA's mobile television service in Shanghai will begin operation within two months. He says that while entering Shanghai market, TOWONA is also busy preparing to get listed overseas.
Since January 2003 when it first started the mobile television service on buses in Xiamen, Fujian Province, TOWONA's mobile television network has covered nearly all the coastal cities in eastern China, including Dalian, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.
