TCL Will Sell 51% Stake Of International Electrical

TCL Group plans to sell 51% of its stake in International Electrical to French low voltage power distribution and products manufacturer Legrand for CNY1 billion.

The transaction will also involve three companies under TCL: TCL Building Technologies, TCL Industrial Electrical and TCL Lighting Electrical.

TCL says Legrand will continue to use the current TCL brands after the transaction.

TCL is expected to disclose more details of the deal by the end of this week.
