Wang Xudong, Chinese Minister of Information Industry, said, while addressing a Pacific Telecommunications Council conference, that China is actively opening its telecom market to the rest of the world.
Wang noted that China would continue to explore cooperation potential to enhance bilateral or multilateral cooperation in the field of technology and business supervision. The minister also said China would accelerate development in software, integrated circuits, digital TV, and internet security.
The Pacific Telecommunications Council is an international, non-profit, and non-governmental organization for providers and users of communication services, policy-makers and technology specialists.
