The Taiwanese memory producer Kingmax Technology (Kingmax) has entered a partnership agreement with mainland China's IT supply chain services provider, Digital China.

Under the agreement the two companies signed recently in Beijing, Digital China will serve as the exclusive sales agent for Kingmax's SO-DIMM products in China. The partnership marks the two companies' entry into the SO-DIMM market in China.

Under the agreement, Digital China will serve as the exclusive sales agent for Kingmax, marketing and promoting Kingmax memory products for notebook computers while providing computer package services. Kingmax will produce memory modules for Digital China, which will be based on Kingmax's Color Series 433 (and higher) DDR memory products.

With the new partnership, Digital China is launching a large-scale, all encompassing marketing campaign, which includes channel sales, marketing, and services. Digital China has integrated China's entire network of sales channels. On the promotions front, Digital China has created the Digital China-Kingmax Image Store, in order to quickly raise Kingmax and Digital China's profile in the DIY market. On the services front, Digital Image has started '800' hotlines which will provide customer service and help callers identify counterfeit products. Digital China also places an "anti-counterfeit" trademark label on all Kingmax product packaging indicating that the product has been inspected by a quality control team.
