An e-Government Center of Excellence has been jointly set up by Beijing University and Oracle (ORCL).
The two sides will work together to provide practical e-political affairs content, methods and solutions to Chinese government cadres at various levels.
According to Wu Zhipan, vice president of Beijing University, content, instead of infrastructure, has become a new bottleneck in China's e-government industry. The establishment of this lab is appropriate to the current situation to meet the government's demands.
For Oracle, this lab serves to demonstrate its advanced technology and business concepts in China, and better realize its "Golden China" strategy: localization, partnership and commitment to the Chinese market.
