Zhang Baoquan's plans to launch EVD Digital Theatres are moving faster than expected, and trial runs are expected within the next three months.

The State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) has given Zhang's Jindian Global Company the license to run with next-generation movie theatres throughout China.

Eleven provinces and regions including Taiwan have asked to become home to the trial runs of the EVD theatres. However local media report that the provinces of Sichuan, Shandong, Henan and Hebei are most liklely to be the test locations.
