New Sanyo Epson LCD Module Sales Subsidiary In Hong Kong

March 7, 2005
Gadgets & Electronics

Sanyo Epson Imaging Devices Corporation will establish a new LCD sales and manufacturing subsidiary in Hong Kong on April 1.

To be capitalized at $24 million, Sanyo Epson Imaging Device (H.K.), Ltd. will take over the display manufacturing operations of Epson Precision (Hong Kong), a wholly owned subsidiary of Seiko Epson.

The move is part of Sanyo Epson's endeavors to reorganize its facilities to enhance manufacturing capabilities in both front-end and back-end LCD processes for more cost-competitive, value-added products.
