Oracle Cooperates With Chongqing On Software Talents Training

Oracle (ORCL) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Chongqing Municipal Information Industry Department for cooperation on a number of projects, including software talent training.

The parties will cooperate on Oracle's establishment of an affiliate company in Chongqing, the training of qualified software talents and the promotion of Chongqing's software outsourcing.

Under the arrangement of CMIID, Oracle will include students from the local institutions of higher learning into its "College Students Internship Program" and "Graduate Development Program", providing internship and job opportunities for selected students. It will also provide periodic training and lectures to local companies and units, focusing on pushing the development of the local software outsourcing.
