Guangzhou-based Southern China B2C Credit Alliance was formally set up on May 18 with more than 10 websites as its first batch of members.
According to Yang Zhifeng, joint founder and secretary general of the B2C Alliance, the main mission of the alliance is to push its member websites to increase their credit standing; improve their service quality; organize multilateral dialogues among manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and the third party service providers so as to advance product quality and market positioning; lower sales costs; and enhance price competitiveness.
The alliance of the B2C companies reportedly has caused attention from China's hardware service provider and banks. Both Inspur Group and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China both sent representatives to attend the opening ceremony.
