According to an insider from Kingsoft, the company's online game marketing director Zhou Qian has departed from her position less than one month after her appointment.
News on Sina.com reports that Zhou joined Kingsoft as online game market director on June 15, 2009. Prior to this, she worked for Chinese online recruitment website ChinaHR.com as marketing director for several years.
Kingsoft reportedly announced Zhou's departure via an internal email and said it is because of health reasons. The company did not reveal the candidates for her successor.
Zhou replaced Zheng Ke, who resigned in late April 2009, to be marketing director for Kingsoft's online game sector. At that time, Kingsoft's several mid-level staff departed from their positions, including Liu Peng, assistant president of Kingsoft's game sector, and Qi Lei, planning director for Kingsoft's game sector.
At present, Kingsoft operates over ten online games in China and its new product, JX3 Online, will be launched this year.
