Chinese telecom equipment maker Huawei has signed a partnership agreement with the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry to enhance the two parties' exchanges in the communication sector, and promote the trade cooperation between China and France.
Under the agreement, Huawei and CCIP will implement a series of activities, including organizing seminars, exchanging business delegations, participating in professional meetings, and holding one-on-on discussions between Chinese and French communication enterprises. Huawei will also provide training opportunities to CCIP's designated students and scholars in China. Apart from promoting the development of French small- and medium-sized enterprises in China, the agreement will help the cooperation between Huawei and the French telecom industry.
Sun Yafang, chairperson of the board of Huawei, said that it is an honor for Huawei to forge this very important partnership with such a prestigious institution in France. As a leading company in the global telecommunications industry, Huawei is committed to enriching people's lives through communication.
Pierre Simon, president of CCIP, said that the innovative nature of this partnership should be stressed. It is a very strong signal for businesses in the two countries. It will enhance their cooperation with one of the world's largest telecommunications markets, as Huawei really wants to help French SMEs to export to the booming Chinese market.
