AMD Names New Sales Leader For Greater China

U.S.-based technology company AMD announced that it has appointed Le Jiaming as AMD global vice president to be fully responsible for AMD's sales in Greater China.

In his new role, Le will lead AMD Greater China's sales team and closely cooperate with the marketing team to further expand AMD's market share in Greater China. Le will be based in Beijing and report directly to Deng Yuanjun, global senior vice president and president of AMD Greater China

Le has over 19 years' experience in the sales, marketing and comprehensive management sectors. Before joining AMD, Le was vice president for the mobile communication department of Samsung. Prior to that, he worked for Motorola for 12 years and his positions included vice president of Motorola and general manager for the sales and marketing of mobile phones in eastern China. In the early stage of his career, he spent eight years in doing work related to engineering. Le graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with the bachelor degree of electronic engineering and he gained the EMBA degree from Rutgers in 2003.
