Letv cloud, the cloud computing-based video open platform of Letv.com, announced that it reached a two-year global strategic cooperation with Dell during CES 2016.

Under the cooperation agreement signed by the two parties, Dell will gain access to Letv's cloud videos, and cloud services and solutions; and Letv's cloud services will be provided to global enterprise clients via the sales network of Dell.

Financial terms of the arrangement were not released.

At the same time, Letv cloud and Dell will implement cooperation in more sectors, covering product evaluation and development for smart homes, video surveillance, smart environmental protection and smart city services.

One day before the strategic cooperation, Letv cloud announced the official establishment of its American subsidiary, which will also become its global innovation headquarters.

In addition, the Chinese company enhanced its cooperation with multiple telecom operators, including data operator Equinix, French telecom operator Orange, Telstra, Telefonica, and Hutchison Telecommunications. These deals were related to expanding the company's video syndication reach.
