He Honglve Joins Huawei Consumer Business As Greater China VP

Chinese telecom device maker Huawei announced that He Honglve has joined Huawei's consumer business as Greater China vice president, leading device business in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.

He will directly report to Zhu Ping, Greater China president of Huawei's consumer business.

According to Yu Chengdong, chief executive officer of Huawei's consumer business, the year of 2016 marks the rise of Huawei's consumer business in the global market. With their global strategic and huge development potential, the company will provide a wide stage for the best talents of the industry. They believed that the joining of He will make continuous contribution to the business development of Huawei's consumer business in Greater China.

He has nearly 25 years of sales and management experience in the mobile phone industry. He previously held important positions in Nokia and Samsung and has successful experience in open channel sales, regional management, and talent training.

Consumer business is one of the three major businesses of Huawei. Its products cover mobile phone, PC, tablet, wearable device, mobile broadband device, home device, and device cloud. During the first half of 2016, Huawei's consumer business realized sales of CNY77.4 billion, a year-on-year increase of 41%; meanwhile, its smartphone shipment reached 60.56 million units, a year-on-year increase of 25%.
