Micron Technology Appointed New Government Affairs VP For Greater China

Micron Technology recently announced to appoint Gao Yunsong as its new government affairs vice president for Greater China.

Gao will locate in Micron Technology's Beijing office, leading the company's public policy, central and provincial government contact, and local community group communication in Greater China.

Sanjay Mehrotra, president and CEO of Micron Technology, said that Gao will bring rich experience and advantageous talent to the team. The appointment of the position is based on their long-term important business in China and it represents their unchanged commitment to the Chinese market.

It is said that Micron Technology's largest manufacturing base in China is located in Xi'an and it is mainly engaged in integrated circuit assembling and testing and DRAM module manufacturing. The Xi'an manufacturing base has crucial importance for the company to maintain its leading position in the DRAM market, covering network, cloud, and data center.

Before joining Micron Technology, Gao worked as co-CEO of DreamCraft Attractions, a technology start-up focusing on AR and VR applications. She was responsible for the company's business strategy and development, government affairs, and investor relationship.
