China's NetEase recently announced plans to make a strategic investment in Behavior Interactive, the largest independent video game developer in Canada, to gain a minority stake in the latter.
On the completion of the investment, the Montreal-headquartered company will continue its independent operation under the leadership of its president and executive producer Remi Racine. Meanwhile, NetEase will nominate a director.
Behavior Interactive is the developer of Dead by Daylight, which is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game and gained great success around the world.
