Microsoft has expanded its Azure cloud region in China to a fifth location

Microsoft has introduced a fifth Chinese Azure location to its lineup as of this week. Officials claimed in a blog post on March 3 that the new North China area in Hebei increases the capacity of Microsoft’s cloud portfolio in China. In 2012, Microsoft announced intentions to deliver Azure in China via partner 21ViaNet. In 2014, the first two Azure regions in China debuted, including not just Azure, but also Office 365, Dynamics 365, and the Power Platform.
