According to Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG), Russian, Belarusian, and Chinese state-sponsored threat actors have launched phishing campaigns and DDoS attacks against Ukrainian and European entities. Shane Huntley, Google’s Threat Analysis Group lead, said that the nation-state group APT28, also known as FancyBear and attributed to Russia’s General Staff of the Armed Forces, launched several phishing campaigns that redirected targets to Blogspot domains controlled by attackers.
