China and Canada researchers, led by Nanjing University, have achieved a breakthrough in perovskite solar technology, surpassing traditional silicon systems in efficiency and stability. The team developed a super-stable coating for perovskite, enabling the production of low-cost, high-efficiency solar panels on an industrial scale.
The perovskite panel, roughly the size of a dining table, reached 22% efficiency with a power output of 158.4 watts, setting a record for this technology at an industrial scale.
